  Last year It was the same, they even managed to catch me at home. They also recieved some crapper from the Governing Body in which they were extanding their f*uckin christian love to those who became inactive. Two elders (one of the author of the above mensioned email) came to my home and were trying to convince me how loving the brothers from the governing body are. Last year I went to the memorial, this year no way. Can't stand this bullshit anymore.

  I was just at your flat to invite you to the memorial. You were not home so I put the invitation in your mailbox
  
  We still miss you and would love to see you again. The elders also received a letter from the governing body were they tell us how much they love and care about all those who have stopped associating with the witnesses. They wanted us to tell you that.

  so i had and appointment to visit with the ceo of the local hospital.

  Funny stories though... First I though that the woman at the admin was an apostate herself and was sacasticly making fun of you )))) But as I understand now she was real JW in an unappropriate place in an unappropiate moment

  currently, i am in barcelona for a two month project.. not sure if there are many residents of barcelona on this forum, but in case there are some or somebody is planning to visit this beautiful city, i propose to organize some gettogether for a drink or siteseeing.

  There was a guy on this forum, called LivingTheDream, who wrote over 20 stories that happened to him during the bethel time.

  These are not bitter or sad stories, rahter experiences viewed by a 20-year old kid with a fare share of humor.

  Was it the doctrine or the control that woke you up?

  even though i knew some of the doctrines were so convoluted they couldnt be genuine, every prophecy mentioned in the bible was simplistic and direct i still felt it was the best place to raise a family.

  i felt like i could ignore the hypocrisy, manipulative and fake personalities and still have true friends and unbreakable family bonds.

  even though my concience would bother me i would always try to forgive.

  KM September 1 2007 is what woke me up. The controle over what you can read or study was abundantly expressed there. That made me to go to the internet and search for answers. Though I was looking for the info that would prove that WTS is right about it's NWT my findings where competely opposite.

  So I guess controle did it's job in my case.

  Would be happy to meet you in real, but unfortunately I'm in Barcelona only till the mid December.

  I heard your interview on the radio, that was great, still have it on my computer somewhere. I don't post here too much but read a lot and am familier with many people on this forum. Normally I reside in the Nehterlands, so if you are sometime in the polder countly will be happy to meet you.
